These terms govern your purchase and use of DeepSRT for Mac ("DeepSRT", "the app"), published by DeepSRT ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the app you agree to these terms.
DeepSRT is a macOS application that generates AI summaries, transcripts, and bilingual live captions for YouTube videos. It runs entirely on your Mac and uses your own Google Gemini API key for AI features. An optional free Chrome extension companion is provided.
DeepSRT is sold as a one-time purchase through two channels:
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use DeepSRT on Macs that you personally own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app except where permitted by law.
DeepSRT is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, or Apple. YouTube and Gemini are trademarks of Google LLC; Mac and the Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
We ship updates — features and fixes — at no additional charge. We aim to keep the app working continuously, but because it depends on external services (YouTube's caption endpoints, Google's Gemini API), we cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality when those services change. Our track record of adapting is public — see the development notes.
DeepSRT collects no data. See the full privacy policy.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated summaries and translations may contain errors and are not a substitute for the original content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at deepsrt.com/terms with a new "last updated" date.
